Youth recipients from Cotabato City receive seed capital fund for micro-enterprises

As part of the weeklong celebrations for the 2nd Bangsamoro Foundation Day, MSSD and the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) had a ceremonial distribution of the Bangsamoro Sagip Kabuhayan (BSK) for youth beneficiaries from Cotabato City on 18 January 2021 at the Bangsamoro Government Center.

Ten (10) youth recipients from Cotabato City received PhP 15,000 each. The money will be utilized as seed capital for new or alternative income-generating activities or micro-enterprise ventures.

The initial batch of 10 beneficiaries has undergone the processes for the release of the BSK grant. The beneficiaries shall be regularly monitored by MSSD and BYC on the progress of their projects funded by BSK.

The ceremonial payout was attended by MSSD Minister Atty. Raissa H. Jajurie, BYC Chairperson Marjanie S. Mimbintas Macasalong, PhP, and Nasserudin D. Dunding, BYC Commissioner for Maguindanao.
