March 30, 2022 | The Office of MP Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph attended and participated during the Virtual Policy Making for the Bangsamoro Women and their Participation in Peace Building, Governance, And Development organized by the Office of MP Diamila Disimban Ramos.
One of the main Objective of the Virtual Policy Discussion was to shared to all the participating offices and partners the outputs of the discussion that are helpful in crafting more responsive policy and legislative proposals that every offices participated can collaborate in the future.
The Office of MP Ramos through the Chief of Staff, Saidamen Mambayao, presented the Planning Framework on System Change and Strategy Development its theories and models from System Mapping, envisioning, strategizing, to executing and collaborating.
During the Policy Discussion, MP Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph shared how the BTA Parliament contribute in sustaining and strengthening women inclusion and participation in BARMM.
Meanwhile, the Office of MP Latiph through the Women Sectoral Representative and GAD Focal Person, Hassana H. Malic, presented the policies legislative works concerning women and programs initiative of the Office of MP Latiph.
It was also discussed the women participation in influencing policies, development planning and budgeting, and implementation of governance efforts in BARMM.
Among the attendees who presented during the policy discussion were the Office of MP Bainon Karon, Bangsamoro Women Commission, Office of MP Eddie Alih, CRS, UNYPAD, SEED Initiative, and IMAN.
