January 29, 2020 | The Office of MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph attends three-day workshop for the updating of the Ranaw Youth Development Plan.
MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph delivered her message at the Write shop on the Updating of the Ranaw Youth Development Plan. The three-day workshop was organized by the Provincial Government through the Office of Board Member Jamil Faisal Saro Adiong, and the Philippine Business for Social Progress. It was attended by the Ranaw Youth Development Council which is composed of accredited youth organizations in Lanao del Sur. The Office of MP Atty. Maisara sent representatives to the workshop in order to strengthen the collaboration of the provincial and regional level. The final output of the updated the Ranaw Youth Development Plan shall serve as a roadmap for all youth initiatives in Lanao del Sure for the next three years until 2024.
In her message, she praised the youth and their active involvements in the areas of governance and civil society. She hopes for greater collaboration between the Office and the provincial government to leverage youth issues and empowerment. She ended her message by quoting poet laureate, Amanda Gorman, “For there is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.”
