November 4-7, 2021 | The Office of MP Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph was one of the selected Office to undergo in the Training of Trainers (TOT) as Regional Gender and Development Resource Pool of BARMM through her staff Hasana H. Malic, Women Sectoral Representative and GAD Focal Person. The Training Program was conducted by the Office of Chief Minister through the Bangsamoro Women Commission and Office of MP Bainon Karon in partnership with The Asia Foundation at Seda Hotel, Davao City.
The Training of Trainers (TOT) is intended to further capacitate a pool of technical people by providing more focused interventions on Gender and Development and ensure that all programs and policy-making being implemented in BARMM will adopt Gender lens and Gender Mainstreaming.
The trainees were officially constituted as the Regional Gender and Development Resource Pool of BARMM.
During the Training-workshop and simulation, presentation materials were enhanced by the trainees, forming an initial draft of the standard to be used for orientation and training on Gender and Development in different offices, ministries, and agencies of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
