The Bangsamoro Parliament concluded today’s plenary session with three bills and three resolutions discussed.
All bills discussed were aimed at increasing bed capacity limit of a district hospital in Maguindanao and building more hospitals in Lanao del Sur.
Other measures tackled in the plenary called for the establishment of a school that would preserve the wooden boat making tradition of the region, urged the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) to condemn the public shame suffered by the six young women whose heads were shaved as punishment for allegedly being part of the LGBTQ+ community, and asked the ministries and offices of the Bangsamoro government to adopt Government Internship Program (GIP) in recognition of the youth’s role in nation-building.
