APRIL 26, 2022| One hundred ten (110) returnees from the municipalities of Butig, Pagayawan, Lumbaca Unayan, and Tubaran in Lanao del Sur received Ramadhan food packs from Member of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority Parliament Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph
This is under the Siyap ko Vulnerable Individual entitled PEACEtahanan: a Ramdhan outreach program for vulnerable individuals that aims to bring government services closer to the Bangsamoro people
Food assistance is the most common concern in any community, especially during disasters and crises. The majority of our returnees are unemployed and lack access to necessities
This program’s objectives are to aid the returnees by giving them food; to address the concerns of the returnees on poverty issues and concerns; to support the policy of the government on reintegration; and to show the VI returnees and their families that the BARMM government is willing to support them in abandoning the armed struggle.
