READ| The office of MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph constantly carried out diverse projects, tasks, and legislations in the Bangsamoro.
To support the continuity of education in the health crisis, the Bangsamoro government, through the office of Member of Parliament (MP) Atty. Maisara C. Damdamun-Latiph distributed Risograph Machines to 28 School Districts in Lanao del Sur, including Marawi City. The acquired duplicators are part of MP Latiph Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF).
Another Consultation Report was published by the office of MP Latiph, the said consultation was conducted last January 28, 2021, with ALIVE and ISAL teachers where they were able to raise their concerns.
With one ‘no’ vote and two abstentions, the Senate late Wednesday approved on its second reading the Senate Bill (SB) 2214 during its 7th Plenary Session on Aug. 25, 2021. As amended, the bill will allow the next President to appoint the 80-member Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) when the terms of the incumbent BTA members expire on June 30, 2022.
A total of 300 morits received study tables from the office of MP Latiph. The project serves as educational assistance for the Bangsamoro learners residing outside the Bangsamoro Region in coping up with the new learning type amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic. This is part of MP Maisara’s programs for the Bangsamoro Communities Outside Bangsamoro Region in Muslim Mindanao dubbed as “Siyap ko Kapaganad Project”.
Bangsamoro Parliament closed the ordinary session of the month with 13 bills tabled and 18 resolutions. Of the measures proposed in the plenary, two bills and 13 resolutions were passed.
Included in the approved resolutions were authored by MP Latiph, Proposed Resolution No. 487, entitled: A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE PROFOUND SYMPATHY AND SINCERE CONDOLENCES OF THE BANGSAMORO TRANSITION AUTHORITY ON THE DEATH OF BTA-MEMBER HONORABLE ALEEM MOHAMMAD ZAINODEN P. BATO HAS BEEN APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE BTA PARLIAMENT and Proposed Resolution No. 482, entitled: “RESOLUTION CALLING ON THE BANGSAMORO GOVERNMENT TO CONSIDER THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DRUG TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION CENTERS IN STRATEGIC AREAS WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE BANGSAMORO AUTONOMOUS REGION IN MUSLIM MINDANAO” has been duly approved and adopted by the members of parliament co-authored by MP Ziaur-Rahman Adiong.
