☑️The Plenary have tackled four (4) resolutions.
☑️After further debate, interpellation, and amendments, the following resolutions have been approved and adopted by the members of parliament:
▶️Proposed Resolution No. 482, entitled: “RESOLUTION CALLING ON THE BANGSAMORO GOVERNMENT TO CONSIDER THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DRUG TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION CENTERS IN STRATEGIC AREAS WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE BANGSAMORO AUTONOMOUS REGION IN MUSLIM MINDANAO”
▶️Proposed Resolution No. 496, entitled: “RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE HIGHEST COMMENDATION BY THE BANGSAMORO PARLIAMENT TO PHILIPPINE OLYMPIANS HIDILYN DIAZ, NESTHY PETECIO, CARLO PAALAM, AND EUMIR MARCIAL FOR BRINGING PRIDE AND HONOR TO THE COUNTRY DURING THE RECENTLY CONCLUDED 2020 SUMMER OLYMPICS IN TOKYO, JAPAN”
▶️Proposed Resolution No. 498, entitled: “RESOLUTION COMMEMORATING THE 60th FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY OF MINDANAO STATE UNIVERSITY (MSU) AND COMMENDING ITS INVALUABLE CONTRIBUTION TO THE BANGSAMORO AUTONOMOUS REGION AND ITS PEOPLE”
Other MPs manifested their interest as co-author. MP Latiph also manifested her interest as co-author and extended her deepest appreciation to the only State University in the Philippines whose purpose is really for the Filipino, for the moro and the Filipino to be united as one and to have a meaningful peaceful society that will be considered truly of our own. For her, that is the purpose why MSU was created and she also mentioned of her being an alumni of MSU in her high school days.
▶️BTA-Parliament Resolution No. 500, entitled: RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE SENATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, ITS COMMITTEE ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT, AND ITS MAJORITY FLOOR LEADER FOR SHEPHERDING THE PROCESS FOR THE ENACTMENT OF SENATE BILL 2214, AND FOR HAVING THE SAME APPROVED ON SECOND READING.
Other MPs made some comments and manifested their interest as co-author.
MP Latiph also manifested her interest as co-author and her proposed amendments on the title was accepted by the principal author as “RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE SENATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES FOR APPROVING ON SECOND READING SENATE BILL NO. 2214 ENTITLED “AN ACT RESETTING THE FIRST REGULAR ELECTIONS IN THE BANGSAMORO AUTONOMOUS REGION IN MUSLIM MINDANAO, AMENDING FOR THAT PURPOSE, SECTION 13, ARTICLE 16 OF R.A. 11054, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE ORGANIC LAW FOR THE BANGSAMORO AUTONOMOUS REFION IN MUSLIM MINDANAO”
