November 25, 2021| The SDG Champions from the People Pillar of the Ranaw Online SDG Academy were immersed in the Bakwit Village, Brgy. Pindolonan, Saguiaran, Lanao del Sur with 30 IDP Children as their participants.
In this immersion program, dubbed as People Pillar: Play Day with IDP Children, the SDG Champions are mandated to teach young children the value of handwashing and clean sanitation which becomes the first line of defense against COVID-19.
Audio-visual presentations, practical execution, and child-friendly lectures were conducted to enforce maximum participation. Modules used were sourced-out from the Project COVID-Karunungan of Youth ACTS.
The Ranaw Online SDG Academy is implemented by Youth Acts in partnership with the Office of MP Diamila Disimban-Ramos and the Office of MP Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph.
