Do you know what Sustainable Development Goal is? Do you know the 2030 agenda? Do you want to be an SDG Champion and learn these global goals? If yes, then this is for you!
Together with the Youth ACTS, we officially launch the Ranaw Online SDG Academy –an online classroom-style program aimed at edifying 30 selected youth in Lanao del Sur about the Sustainable Development Goals which would encourage them to develop policies to be lobbied in the local Sanggunians and projects to be implemented in the community mainstreaming the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The program aims:
(1) To generate awareness on Sustainable Development Goals;
(2) To create a community of SDG advocates;
(3) To craft policies and projects regarding the Sustainable Development Goals;
(4) To discuss global inequality and how it affects the province; and
(5) To craft sustainable solutions through educative strategies.
So what should you expect in joining the program? Other than having access to learning materials sourced out from United Nations, World Vision, and other entities, you will also be able to attend series of lectures on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and other exclusive learning sessions. Also, you will be able to participate in one of our five immersion programs!
