PRLS-Subatra Conducts a Round-Table Discussion on Legislative Research, Law, Drafting, and Bangsamoro Analytical Cases on Pressing Issues

The RTD presented and reviewed policy papers from experts specialized in several disciplines to help the Bangsamoro Region draft laws. The event, according to Christoph Wagner, who gave the opening statement, was a good communication and beginning point among many sectors: academics, legislators, and civil society organizations that came together to debate significant and crucial topics [in the BARMM]. Furthermore, the RTD has provided basic constitutional and legal requirements, concepts, methodologies, resources, and approaches to Members of Parliament, BTA officials, and civil society organizations to produce responsive and research-based policy studies and legislation.
