MP Maisara’s Message on World Hijab Day
Celebrating almost 30 years of Hijab Advocacy in the Philippines.
Even as a young woman, I already saw the importance of promoting respect and understanding amongst people on the wearing of hijab by Muslim Women as an expression of faith and identity.
Today, this advocacy has come to fruition. We now commemorate February 1 of each year as World Hijab Day.
Together, I hope we can promote solidarity and understanding of each other to live in a world of harmony and peace.
May Allah bless us all on our good intentions and actions to achieve them. Thank you for supporting our advocacy.
