On July 18, 2022, Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph and MP Bassit Abbas served as guests of honor during the mass graduation of MBHTE-Tesda Lanao Del Sur trainees at Sultans Palace Function Hall, Municipality of Bubong, Lanao Del Sur.
200 vulnerable individuals have officially completed and received their National Certificate II (NC-2) in dress making, bread and pastry product making, and carpentry.
The said program was administered by the Provincial City Manpower Development Center (PCMDC) led by Administrator Insanoray A. Macapaar under the umbrella of the Bangsamoro Scholarship Program for TVET 2021.
In her message, MP Maisara said that “success is not an end goal. Its never-ending process towards happiness and fulfillment and it’s changing because goals change as you grow older. Sa ngayon, you are all successful traininees’ graduates of tiles setting, dress making, bread and pastry production NC II, and so on and so forth. Your acquired skills during your training will be the window of opportunity for all of you. For those who did not graduate college degree, do not ever think you deserve little, hindi lahat na naka graduate ng college ay successful in life today. Marami akong alam na mga negosyante, very successful in life pero hindi sila graduated ng college. I’m telling this for you to realize more na lahat ng gusto mong makuha palaging nasa diskarte yan, nasa mabuting diskarte, determinasyon, at husay sa iyong ninanais na marating with the help of God.”
She added.
Among the graduates is the 50 vulnerable women from dumpsite in Caniogan, Papandayan, Marawi City who successfully completed the Siyap ko mga Bae: Training for Dressmaking and Baread & Pastry Making under the office of MP Maisara.
Also present were Ismael Capampangan, administrative officer V of MBHTE-TESDA Lanao Del Sur, and Dir. Nasief Macaraya, representative of MP Diamla Musa.
