May 19, 2021 | MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph had a meeting with the Minister of Tourism, Investment and Trade Hon. Amri Taddik and Bangsamoro Director-General Ross Sinarimbo to discuss the feasibility of developing and instituting technical and financial support to Social Enterprises in Lanao del Sur.
Tugaya, being one of the industrial hub of the region and considering its potential in brass making, wood carving, and producing other handicrafts, has been given special attention in order to preserve the knowledge and skills possessed by craftsmen.
Several ideas on what program to pursue in order to support the local industry were also presented by MP Latiph based on the submissions of the constituents. Another meeting will be set in order to further discuss the details of the projects and programs.
