KALUMBAYANAGUE YOUTH ORGANIZATION

June 29, 2022

On October 2, 2021, the Kalumbayanague Youth Organizer was created. Lumbayanague is one of the selected towns that will have the opportunity to undertake a project funded by the office of MP Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph.

The project aims to help the youth understand their important role as engaged citizens and discourage them from joining terrorist organizations.

Among the accomplishments of the group is that they were able to empower the young people in their community. They demonstrated to them that being “Kabatataan” does not equate to being “hadlang.” In order to better the community at large, they instill in them the idea that young people are an integral component of society.

The kalumbayangue youth group is convinced that it can continue as long as everyone works together for the benefit of each member. And they consider themselves change agents.
