Updates for Bangsamoro Job Portal as of February 15, 2020
At the moment, almost all of the positions are closed. The closing dates of every position is shown on the list of opportunities in the job portal. Generally, once the position is posted, it will be closed within 10-15 days. For those closed positions and you want to know when it will open again then it depends on the ministries but there is a need to regularly check the job portal.
According to the overseer of the Job Portal System, before there were 30,000 applications but only 20,000 applicants since a single applicant applied for 30 positions.
With this issue, the disqualification started. They come up with shortlisting where they remove unqualified applicants. For example, an applicant has no eligibility and is applying for a director position or admin officer, since it requires eligibility then he/she will automatically be disqualified.
Qualifications are listed on the positions they are applying and if the applicant did not meet any of those then that is already a ground for disqualification.
As of today, the job portal is always active, there are positions open and available, there is a must to regularly check the Job Portal. The applicants are now on the process of waiting for the reply of the HR with regards to their application.
Accordingly, below is the General Process but not universal:
Step 1. Quality Standard Screening-This is the immediate qualification
a. Eligibility
b. Educational Background
c. Experience
d. Training
Step 2. Exam
Step 3. Interview
Step 4. Processing of Personnel Selection Board (PSB). This is the final stage, the consolidation of PSB. They will recommend names to the ministry but still, the ministry is the higher appointing officer.
