December 8, 2021 | The Office of MP Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph represented by Dr. Laarnie B. Racman attended the first-ever Bangsamoro Youth Parliament 2021 Opening Ceremony conducted by the Office of the Bangsamoro Youth Commission held at Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex, BARMM Complex, Cotabato City.
She was tasked to deliver the message of support of MP Latiph.
MP Latiph is very happy that the Bangsamoro Government will have its first-ever Bangsamoro Youth Parliament 2021 for she believes that this is an avenue to discuss important issues and concerns related to our youth sector and crafts possible solutions that will be forwarded into policy actions. She is also thankful that according to the aim of the program, the bills and resolutions that the youth parliamentarian will make during the program will be passed in the parliament and will be lobbied to the actual parliament with the help of the BYC Chairperson, Dr. Marjanie S. Mimbantas Macasalong.
She concluded that the role of the youth in nation-building is crucial. They are the problem-solvers and have a positive influence on other young people and the nation. They can create an identity for themselves and move the nation forward. However, they will not be able to do this without the support of the government and fellow youths. So, they have to make the beautiful land flourish and shrine in success.
MP Latiph stressed that the youth must Arise, Awake, and Stop not until the goal is achieved. They are the combination of high-energies, intelligent brains and smartness-where she believes that it is a formula for the success of our country.
The Office of MP Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph will always support the cause of the youth especially the vulnerable ones.
