EMPOWERING STORIES| The office of MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph Continued its services to the both Bangsamoro residing inside and outside the Bangsamoro region by giving different assistance to vulnerable individuals and sectors.
On January 23, 2021, The Office has provided financial assistance amounting to Php 5,000 to the ten (10) vulnerable Bangsamoro Individuals residing outside the region in some heads of the families in Montalban Rizal Province as part of MP Maisara initiatives for the Bangsamoro People Residing outside the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
On January 26, 2022, Grocery Items has been provided to fifteen (15) vulnerable families in Lanao del Sur and Marawi City under the Siyap Ko Vulnerable Program of MP Maisara.
The beneficiaries of the said assistance are selected vulnerable families endorsed by Social Work students/Interns from Lanao Central College Incorporated (LCCI) and Mindanao State University (MSU) Marawi City in response to the request of the students/interns who are required to take any action on their clients during their internship.
On the same day, Sixty (60) vulnerable individuals in the province of Lanao del Sur and City of Marawi that was categorized into Medical Assistance, Financial Assistance, and Educational Assistance.
The Educational Assistance amounts to Php 3,000 for each of the ten recipients, Medical Assistance amounts to Php 5,000 for each of the 29 recipients, and Financial Assistance amounts to Php 3,000 for each of the 21 recipients.
On January 28, 2022, in partnership with Marine Batallion Landing Team-2 and YLS-Lanao del Sur has successfully conducted Lapis Hindi Bala: A rise madrasah operation in Madrasah Bolocaon Al-Islamiya at Barangay Balangas Bolocaon, Picong, Lanao del Sur.
Among the supplies and equipment provided includes 1 speaker, 6 dustpans, 6 broomsticks, 6 Walis Tambo, 6 trash cans, 3 wall clocks, 50 chairs, and 20 Teaching kits for Ustads.
This project aims to respond effectively to the multiple needs of the poor through social services towards integral human development, To conscienticize and uplift the poor through gift-giving and by providing them their basic need on their education, and to provide accessible education to every Morits on their Eastern Education especially to those who need learnings about Islamic Topics.
