The Office of MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph represented by Shanemah U. Latiph, Political Affairs Officer II, together with Queenie D. Comadug and Samanodin L. Nasser participated in the turn-over ceremony of Hygiene and Dignity Kits to Lanao del Sur Provincial Jail Detainees in partnership with the Ministry of Public Order and Safety.
The program was part of MP Maisara’s humanitarian program for detention prisoners. The event was organized and implemented by the Ministry of Public Order and Safety headed by Minister MP Hussein P. Muñoz (represented by Atty. Al-Rashid Balt) thru the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of the members of parliament.
The event was held on December 18, 2020 at the Covered Court of LDS Provincial Jail, Brgy. Tampilong, Marawi City.
There are 134 detainees in the LDS Provincial Jail, seventeen (17) of them are women and three (3) of them are with babies.
The BARMM personnel made sure to give them their basic needs such as maternal kits for mother detainees, hygiene and dignity kits for men and women detainees.
The office extends its utmost thanks to the Ministry of Public Order and Safety as well as the Office of MP Hussein P. Muñoz as represented by Atty. Al-Rashid Balt and staffs in making the project successful as we stay true to the saying that no Bangsamoro People will be left behind.
