July 1, 2021| Today, the Office of MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph in partnership with The Asia Foundation and Australian Aid conducted its fifth “Care for Orphan Consultation” in Aid of Legislation at Sulu.

“Ang mga taong nagdadalaga ng mga ulila ay may malaking halaga sa paningin ng Allah (SWT) at magkakaroon ng malaking gantimpala sa araw ng paghuhukom.”, said by MP Atty. Maisara
This is also in support to the BTA Parliament Bill No. 71, or the Bangsamoro Orphanage Act 2020, and to gather any inputs, suggestions, and amendments to improve the Bill. The consultation includes the (2) discussions.
The first discussion was about “Children of War: A Rapid Needs Assessment of Orphans in Muslim Mindanao” that was presented by Sir Hadzer Birowa, Children of War Study Researcher.
And the second discussion was about BTA Parliament Bill No. 71 or the Bangsamoro Orphanage Act 2020 which was presented by Atty. Alexine Bangcola, Legal Researcher of MP Atty. Maisara Latiph.
