Highlights:
☑️The plenary approved the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code (BCSC). It is the second priority code after the Bangsamoro Administrative Code to have been approved.
☑️Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim personally attended the plenary to participate in the voting, and for the ceremonial signing certifying the BCSC, along with Speaker MP Ali Pangalian M. Balindong.
☑️Chief Minister Ebrahim gave a few words thanking the Parliament for their hard work and celebrating the passage of the BCSC. He also shared his experiences during the Senate hearing and that he gave assurances that the rest of the priority codes would be passed this year, God Willing.
☑️MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph voted yes to the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code, and explained her vote. She highlighted the important role Asatidz and Shari’ah Counselors play in preserving the Islamic way of life and society. She thanked the proponents for accepting her amendment on Shari’ah Bar eligibility, as well as her amendment for Mujahideen and Mujahidats.
☑️The plenary also approved PR 373 commending the Presidential Communication Operations Office for the creation of Salaam TV and Salaam Radio authored by MP Diamila Ramos.
