Highlights:
☑️Journal No. 36 was adopted. Some MPs motioned to have the Secretariat have a standard writing style for the journal which could either be Reporting on the Proceedings or Journal Reporting.
☑️Proposed Resolution 382 authored by MP Maisara Latiph directing the Ministry of Health (MOH) to provide an assessment report regarding the COVID-19 vaccination plan for the BARMM region and PR 383 authored by MP Abdullah Hashim calling for the preparation of a vaccination plan were consolidated and treated as a simple resolution.
☑️MP Dr. Abas, the Deputy Minister of the MOH, manifested that the MOH has already prepared a report and would be ready to present it before the plenary.
☑️The title of Parliament Bill no. 78 or An Act Establishing a Bangsamoro Fisheries Development Authority was read for the first stage.
☑️The plenary continued interpellation on Committee Report No. 53 submitted by the Committee on Rules regarding the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code. MP Engr. Baintan Ampatuan, MP Atty. Ambolodto, MP Atty. Nabil Tan, MP Atty. Ras Mitmug, MP Atty. Laisa Alamia, among others, interpolated the proponent. MP Baintan had a presentation outlining her concerns and called for consistency in the nomenclature in the Code.
☑️MP Atty. Raissa Jajurie answered the concerns raised, with assistance from the other members of the Committee on Rules including MP Atty. Maisara Latiph who attended the session personally. There was a robust discussion on the Career Executive Service.
