📌HIGHLIGHTS of the BTA Parliament Session No. 43 on September 17, 2020
☑️The session began at around 2:00PM followed by the invocation, and singing of National Anthem and the Bangsamoro Hymn.
☑️During the Roll Call, out of 80 Members of the Parliament, 2 physically responded and 54 participated via teleconferencing with a total of 56 MPs present. The Secretary General certified the presence of a quorum.
READING AND APPROVAL OF JOURNAL OF THE PREVIOUS SESSION:
☑️The reading of Journal No. 29 has been dispensed with and the same had been duly adopted upon the motion for its approval having been duly seconded.
☑️RESOLUTIONS, MESSAGES, PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND COMMUNICATIONS:
The Proposed Resolution No. 302, entitled: A Resolution Strongly Condemning the Massacre of Nine (9) Civilians in Kabacan, Cotabato Province and Respectfully Urging the Philippine National Police (PNP), the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) to Promptly Conduct an Investigation, authored by MP Atty. Paisalin P.D. Tago, Deputy Speaker MP Hatimil E. Hassan. MP Atty. Nabil A. Tan, MP Alim Ibrahim D. Ali, Minister MP Arch. Eduard U. Guerra, Minister MP Mohammad S. Yacob, Minister MP Dr. Safrullah M. Dipatuan, Deputy Minister MP Atty. Jose I. Lorena, MP Abraham T. Burahan, MP Abdullah B. Hashim, MP Dr. Marjanie S. Macasalong, MP Alim Said M. Sheikh, MP Atty. Suharto M. Ambolodto, Dep. THIRD AND FINAL STAGE:
☑️The Committee Substitute Bill No. 52, entitled: An Act Creating Bangsamoro Sports Commission, providing for its Mandate, Powers, and Function, Appropriating Funds Therefor, and for other Purposes, was duly adopted and/or approved. The result of the nominal voting was as follows: a) Yes – 52 (50 voted via Teleconference); b) N – 0; c) Abstention – 0.
☑️The BTA Parliament Session was adjourned at around 4:00PM.
