BARMM STAKEHOLDER’S CONSULTATION
July 8, 2021 | The Office of MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph participated and joined the BARMM Stakeholder’s Consultation: A Research Presentation on Understanding the Needs and Priorities of Children particularly girls and their lived realities on Marriage.
The objectives of this consultation is to share highlight of research findings, conclusion and recommendation/s with key stakeholder groups; Gather feedback from stakeholders on the findings and recommendations, and other suggested solutions to address key issues/needs of adolescents and Child Early & Forced Marriage (CEFM) programming gaps; and identify priority areas and next steps towards collaborative action in addressing needs of adolescents and on CEFM advocacy and intervention.
Our Office is one with promoting the welfare and rights of the children, and supports the advocacy needs in addressing the gaps, challenges, and to strengthen protection interventions for the Children.
We would like to thank the organizers of this event, Plan International, Ministry of Social Services and Development, and to all of the partners and stakeholders who were in support and with us in this consultation.
