BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim and Bangsamoro Transition Authority Parliament Speaker Atty. Ali Pangalian Balindong signed on May 18, 2021 the Bangsamoro Autonomy Act No. 18 or the BANGSAMORO EDUCATION CODE (BEC).
The BEC shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of general or regional circulation. It was published last June 8, 2021 and shall therefore take effect on June 24, 2021.
