December 24 2021| Committee on Labor and Employment convened earlier today for the presentation of the Bangsamoro Labor and Employment Code of 2022.
This is entitled: An Act Instituting A Labor and Employment Code for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region to Afford Protection to Labor, Promote Employment and Human Resources Development, Ensure Industrial Peace Based on Social Justice, and For the Other Related Purposes, Amending for the Purpose Sections 11, 18, and 19, Title IX, Chapter 4 of the Bangsamoro Autonomy No. 13.
It was presided by Committee Chairperson MP Romeo Sema with Vice chairperson MP Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph.
Committee Members present are MP Suwaib L. Oranon, MP Hatimil R. Hassan, MP Sahie Udja. Others are present via zoom.
The draft of the proposed Labor and Employment Code of 2022 was approved for transmittal and endorsement to the Office of Chief Minister.
