The first session of the Bangsamoro Film Talks will be live on Facebook page of BTA Member Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph & Youtube channel of Bangsamoro Short Film Festival.
This coming 3rd of July, 2020 (Friday) at 3pm. Hosted by Andrei Nikkolai Pamintuan, the creative director of FRINGE Manila Art Festival.
Aiming to inspire and educate aspiring filmmakers on the important elements of FICTION and NON-FICTION filmmaking, the talk aims stimulate creative thoughts on how to make compelling visual stories.
Speakers:
MARLON RIVERA
● A blockbuster filmmaker, award-winning director and advertising genius, Mr. Rivera is known for directing “Ang Huling Henya,” “Enteng Kabisote,” “Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank,” and many others. He also produced and wrote for television shows, films and advertisements/commercials.
BABYRUTH VILLARAMA
● An award-winning documentary filmmaker, known for her film “Sunday Beauty Queen,” Ms. Villarama is a former member of the NCCA Cinema Board and “DaangDokyu” Film Festival. She is now a member of the Director’s Guild of the Philippines, Incorporated.
