The Office of MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph donated a complete set of sound system and carpet to the Masjid of Dulay Temporary Shelter, Marawi City.
The office also provided 64 Ramadhan packs for the constituents of the area. Each Ramadhan pack consists of bread, peanut butter, coffee, sugar, coffee mate, salt, vinegar, and soy sauce.
The area leaders, Imams, and community members were so happy to receive this special gift, especially in this Holy Month of Ramadhan. Headed by the Imam, they extended their warmest gratitude to the Office of MP Maisara for resolving their problem regarding the sound system of the said Masjid. Now they can finally hear the call of prayer and perform the last ten days of Ramadhan “Tahajjud” with ease.
The concerned community leader Babu was very emotional when the sound system was assembled. She said that, “Myakalala a phanalamatan akn sa gya opisina e MP Atty. Maisara ko danyan rkami ki daraynon, giyangkay a inibugay niyo rkami na myakalala dn aya ugop ka di kami dn kulambosn kay di kami pakanug sa bang na imanto na Alhamdulillah ka minge uma giya pamumugayan iyo rkami, balasan kano run o Allah.”
Indeed, providing for a mosque is one of the best forms of charitable giving. One of the first acts of the Prophet (PBUH) after he migrated from Makkah to Madinah was to build a mosque. Various Hadith cite the Prophet (PBUH) saying: “Whoever builds a masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” By donating, not only will you be providing a place of worship but laying foundations for your own spiritual rewards in this life and the next.
The Office of MP Maisara will continue to extend help wherever our office can reach.
