Highlights:

☑️MP Maisara Latiph had three resolutions on the Official Business of the Day.

☑️These include Proposed Resolution (PR) No. 416 respectfully asking the Senate to consider the provisions of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) on the power of the BARMM Government over the management of inland waters, PR No. 396 earnestly urging the Congress to concur with the proclamations issued by the President in granting amnesty to the MILF, and PR No. 384 on commending the House of Representatives for passing House Bill 8249 declaring February 1 as National Hijab Day.

☑️Discussion on Committee Report No. 36 tackling PR No. 138 requesting the Chief Minister to issue a Memorandum Order disallowing habal-habal (who predominantly and are often male) to take on women passengers within the premises of the BARMM compound authored by MP Mujahid was deferred.

☑️The following bills were tackled by the plenary at their second stage: BTA-Parliament Bill No. 67 on the creation of a Bangsamoro Bantay-Korupsyon Office; Parliament Bill No. 68 on prioritizing the establishment of an irrigation systems within the Bangsamoro area; and Parliament Bill No. 81 prioritizing the establishment of the Bangsamoro Agriculture and Fisheries Training Institute, all authored by MP Mohammad Yacob who delivered sponsorship speeches for all the bills.
