ATM: MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph is participating in a TWG for the Education Code, where she discussed extensively her proposed amendments to the Bangsamoro Education code. Besides amendments to structure and providing more detail as to the powers and functions of specific Bureaus, she also notably included additional titles on Alternative Learning Systems, Special Education Systems, and the Toril Learning System. She also included amendments on the Madrasah System, such as including a provision on a special examination for our Asatidz and proposed qualifications.
The TWG meeting is chaired by MBHTE Minister Iqbal and Vice-Chair person MP Atty. Ras Mitmug. Other MPs who were invited as resource persons and presented were MP Basman, MP Dr. Anayatin, and Minister of Ministry of Indigenous People’s Affairs (MIPA) MP Saliga.
