27 December 2020 – The Office of MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph distributed relief goods to the victims affected by the major storm, otherwise known as ‘Bagyong Ulysses’ that hit their homes and shelters. The said operation was held at Roxas, Isabela.
A total of 100 families were given relief goods that contain the following:
3 kilos Super Angelika rice, 3 pcs assorted noodles, 3 can goods, 1 laundry bar soap, 1 bath soap, 1 bottle clorox, Powdered laundry detergent, Shampoo and Face mask
According to Amenodin Olama, the President of Muslim Community in Roxas saying, “During the recent calamity since the lockdown starts, many people suffered from gaining their everyday income because of the small and big business operations were closed in the markets. Despite of that, they are very thankful to the government especially to their Mayor for providing their special needs as Muslims. “They are also helping one another by providing them goods for what they have in a way that they contribute and buy goods for them,” he added.
He then shared some notes addressed to the Bangsamoro government saying, “Maraming maraming Salamat po sa BARMM”. Because of this, they were very grateful that we reached them in the manner of what we can.
This humanitarian response is part of the program “Siyap to the Vulnerable” of the office of MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph to the vulnerable constituents in Bangsamoro outside BARMM.
