The ventilators, which arrived today, September 25, from Manila, were procured by the BARMM’s Ministry of Interior and Local Government-Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidence (MILG-READI), in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Philippines.

MILG Minister Naguib Sinarimbo said, “These are essentials in aiding Covid patients suffering from respiratory problems, and in the whole of the BARMM, there are only 5 units available. We procured a total of 10 units and will be deployed in strategic hospitals across the region.”
