On August 04, 2022, the office of MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph, in partnership with the BARMM-Cooperative and Social Enterprise Authority of Lanao del Sur, conducted a pre-registration and orientation seminar in Masiu, Lanao del Sur.
A total of fifty-three (53) individuals actively participated and benefited from the said seminar.
Ms. Jolainie Tagoranao Pangandaman, the CSEA LDS Senior Cooperative Development Specialist, explained the essence of cooperative organizing and membership, duties and responsibilities, registration, and its requirements.
In her message, MP Maisara highlighted that among the major goals of her office is to provide significant empowerment to the marginalized sectors through provisions of technical assistance that would enable them to attain self-reliance. She further encourages everyone to organize themselves and gear towards economic recovery, viability, and competitiveness.
The activity is part of the requirements for cooperative registration, which aims to inform the cooperative and its members about the necessary information on cooperative and registration.
