July 12, 2022 l The Office of MP Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph, through her Social Enterprise and Environment Sectoral Representative, Sahanee M. Panolong, attended and presented the updates and the salient features of the bill—BTA Bill No. 157 in the seminar workshop on cooperative development for CSEA-BARMM personnel, culminating in the ceremonial turn over of cooperative documents of 63 barangays in North Cotabato Province and Cotabato City.
BTA Bill No. 157, also known as An Act Ordaining The Promotion Of Social Enterprises In The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region Of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), Creating The Bangsamoro Resilient, Inclusive Social Enterprises (RISE) For Peace And Sustainable Development Program, Providing Incentives, Benefits, And Appropriations Therefor.
The activity aims to capacitate the newly hired employees of the Authority on the basics of cooperatives, data banking, and standard forms as tools in delivering their services effectively and efficiently.
It also serves as a venue for the turnover of all documents related to cooperatives in 63 barangays of North Cotabato Province and Cotabato City from CDA-RXII Extension Office to CSEA-BARMM.
