BTA BILL 32 “RANAW DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY” COMMITTEE REPORT, ADOPTED BY BTA PARLIAMENT FOR INTERPELLATION AND DEBATES AND SECOND READING
The committee report on BTA Bill 32 or “An act creating the Ranaw Development Authority prescribing its powers and functions and appropriating funds therefor” submitted by the committee on rules to the plenary was adopted by the BTA parliament for interpellation and debate.
Committee Report No.121 containing enhancements on BTA Bill 32 was presented by MP Maisara Dandamun-Latiph to the plenary. Said report was adopted by the parliament and will undergo debates and amendment for 2nd reading next session.
Among the 10 priority legislation of the parliament is the creation of Ranaw Development Authority. This bill if enacted into law shall protect, conserve and develop Lake Lanao in Lanao del Sur, the country’s largest body of fresh water.
