Four College Students from the Mindanao State University-Main Campus Successfully completed their 600 Hours On-Job Training at the Office of MP Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph. They began their OJT last February 2022.
The said trainees are graduating students taking Bachelor of Science in Business Management Major in Human Resource Management.
MP Maisara OJT Program aims to provide career experiences to students both in developmental projects and legislations for the vulnerable sectors such as Women, Youth, Internally Displaced Persons, Orphans and Children, Social Enterprise, Education, and Environment.
This aims to provide necessary technical skills for their future office and field works.
“One of the priorities of our office is the Education Sector. The OJT Program is one of the interventions to students for them to expose in the work of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) particularly in the Parliamentary Government of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).”, says MP Latiph
“With hopes in mind, this Training became a good avenue towards the student-trainees’ intensive skill enhancement, Organizational exposure and they had acquired relevant practical experiences which supplemented their theoretical and conceptual learnings in the past four years, thereby, prepared them in the actual workplace and corporate environment after graduation.”, says Asmah, a BS HRM Professor in MSU-Main
During the culmination day, OJTs expressed their deep thanks to Office of MP Atty. Maisara.
“We’re so grateful and forever will be that you accepted us, embraced us despite of our differences. Tasks seemed so easy to do because we never felt pressured. We never feel tired because we feel your support towards us in every single step of the way since day 1”, shared by Girlie, an OJT
“I learned the way how to communicate and to deal with people especially doon sa mga field work, matuto ka talaga. Through my experiences my communicating skill were improved. Yon yong isa sa mga gusto ko ma improve saakin. Communication skills.”, says Amelodin, an OJT
