May 20, 2021 | The Office of MP Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph through her Women Sectoral Representative, Hasana M. H. Malic, attended and participated during the Feedback Forum on the 66th Session of the UN
Commission on the Status of Women (CSW66) organized by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) via Zoom in hybrid format.
The PCW is convened this FeedbackForum to share highlights of the participation of the Philippine Delegation (PhilDel)that composed of representatives from government agencies and civil society organizations.
Themajor outcome documents (Country Statement and Agreed Conclusions) has been presented and responsible agencies has been identified to help implement the State’s commitment as
outlined in the CSW66 Agreed Conclusions adherent to the following themes:
• Priority theme: Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women andgirls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction
policies and programmes.
• Review theme: Women’s economic empowerment in the changing world of work
(agreed conclusions of the sixty-first session)
Officials from selected agencies has been delivered a pledge to implement and monitor thesecommitments.
The forum also aims to introduce participants to the upcoming CSW67 to be held in 2023,with the following themes:
• Priority theme: Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital
age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.
• Review theme: Challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and the
empowerment of rural women and girls (agreed conclusions of the sixty-secondsession).
