April 12, 2022 | The Office of MP Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph attended the Committee on Amendments, Revision and Codification of Laws convened today to conduct its committee meeting for the calendar year of 2022, held at the BTA Parliament Executive Lounge and via Zoom Teleconference.
Present are Chairperson MP Atty. Jose Lorena, MP Susana Anayatin, MP Eddie Alih, MP Hatimil Hassan, MP Abdul Muhmin Mujahid, MP Atty. Rasol Mitmug, Jr., MP Hamid Aminoddin Barra, MP Atty. Laisa Alamia, MP Atty. Anna Tarhata Basman and MP Atty. Paisalin Tago.
The meeting highlights the discussion of the Internal Rules for the Committee; and Other Matters.
The Committee approved the motions raised that the Internal Rules of the committee be drafted by the committee secretariat afterwards be deliberated to the committee level; and, the chairman of the committee be allowed to nominate members of the majority to become members of the said committee, and therefore the majority floor leader can attest to whatever the recommendation of the chairperson.
Moreover, the Committee made a recommendation to create a group chat that will facilitate the communication among members of the said committee.
