January 17, 2022| The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is kicking off a week-long celebration of its third founding anniversary at the Bangsamoro Government Center in Cotabato City.
This year’s theme, “‘Changing People’s Lives, Transforming the Bangsamoro: Celebrating and Sustaining the Gains of Peace and Moral Governance,” highlights the regional government’s progress in achieving peace and development and reforming Bangsamoro over the past three years.
Adhering to strict health standards, a short program was held in front of the Chief Minister’s office building in which CM Ahod ‘AlHajj Murad’ Ebrahim, Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua, and the Speaker of the Bangsamoro Parliament, Pangalian Balindong, made their speeches.
Socio-economic events and other offerings from various ministries of the BARMM are expected to take place during commemoration week.
