The Office of the Chief Minister proposed a total of P8,072,220,607.20 for 2022 as it continues its legacy in responding to the immediate needs of the Bangsamoro People.

“Aside from the Parliament itself, the Office of the Chief Minister is the most important office that’s why we need more time to deliberate the budget,” MP Mohagher Iqbal, chair of the sub-committee B, said during the budget deliberation.

The Quick Response Fund and Marawi Rehabilitation Program got the bulk of the OCM’s proposed budget for 2022.

Among the programs and projects of the OCM are Kapayapaan sa Pamayanan (KAPYANAN); Social Enterprise and Economic Development; Strengthening Community Governance, Peace and Development; Water and Sanitation and Health; Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan (TABANG); Ayudang Medikal mula sa bangsamoro Government (AMBaG), and provision of decent housing.

The OCM also plans to implement various infrastructure projects and support the 47 non-IRA barangays. (LTAIS-Public Information, Publication, and Media Relations Division)
