November 15-16, 2021| Twenty (20) Youth orphans from Lanao del Sur and Marawi City participated in the 2-day training program conducted by the office of MP Atty. Maisara C. Dandamun Latiph in partnership with the Ministry of Trade, Investment, and Tourism (MTIT) and Save the Children dubbed as ORFUND YES TO SE PROGRAM-Basic Entrepreneural Skills Training and Sustainable Livelihood Enterprise.
The Program aims to promote more Social Enterprise in the Region, capacitate and train more young people in social enterprise; and give start-up capital to the trainees for their Business proposals.
The training sessions include the discussions on Starting a Business, SWOT analysis, Business Licensing, Business Plan Overview with aligned workshops, Organization and Management, Marketing Aspect and Promotion, Production Management, Pricing and Costing, Financial Management, and Business Model Canvass.
Participants were able to identify issues, concerns, and challenges in their society, and its recommended solutions. Their proposed businesses are aligned to create an impact that will improve lives and add meaningful value to our society.
Each participant will receive a total of P15,000 cash from the partner, Save the Children as their supplements for their start-up capital of their Business Social Enterprise.
In her video message, MP Maisara said that,

Walida, one of the participants said in Mranao dialect that, “So katawi ami ko Business na tanto ko myakaito ito ogaid na ALHAMDULILLAH ka myaadn gya a program sa myaka kowatawn sa mala n’dao agu mga pipiya a tips/strategy.”
