October 14, 2021 | MP Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph, the Vice-Chairperson of the Committee on Labor and Employment, physically attended the committee meeting in the Executive Lounge, BARMM Complex, Cotabato City to present the initial draft of the proposed Bangsamoro Labor Code.
Atty. Abduljabbar Guro, the Chief of Staff of MP Maisara, presented the salient features of the proposed draft and discussed the legal basis, parameters, and the new provisions thereto introduced.
MP Atty. Maisara and MP Romeo Sema, the Chairperson of the Committee also presented the timeline of the Code’s passage.
Present were members of the Committee on Labor and Employment and other Members of Parliament.
