The Bangsamoro Parliament approved on third and final reading a measure appropriating P10-billion

Voting 40-0-0, the Bangsamoro Parliament approved on third and final reading a measure appropriating P10-billion from the Special Development Fund for 2020 and 2021.

Under the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL), the national government would provide a special development fund (SDF) to the Bangsamoro government to rebuild, rehabilitate, and develop its conflict-affected communities.

The SDF will be utilized based on the Bangsamoro Development Plan, which the Parliament has approved.

The Parliament held its special session on Friday afternoon, October 8, to deliberate and approve the proposed Parliament Bill 139. (Publication and Media Relations Division)
