Proposed Resolution No. 287, entitled: Resolution Recommending the
Establishment of a Lanao del Sur Provincial Hospital as Part of the BARMM
Regional COVID-19 Response.
Responding to the call of the Integrated ProvincialHealth Office (IPHO) – Lanao del Sur during theconsultation on the proposed Cabinet Bill No. 60entitled Bangsamoro Administrative Code held onAugust 19, 2020, that there is a need for theestablishment of a provincial hospital in Lanao delSur to decongest Amai Pak-Pak MedicalCenter (APMC), MP Maisara filed ProposedResolution No. 287, entitled: ResolutionRecommending the Establishment of a Lanao delSur Provincial Hospital as Part of the BARMMRegional COVID-19 Response.
Through the resolution, it is hoped that the prevailing fear thatAPMC will not be able to keep up with thedemands of the COVID-19 pandemic will beimmediately addressed.
It is to be noted that theAPMC only has a limited bed capacity of fourhundred (400) beds.
