August 26, 2021| The Office of Bangsamoro Transition Authority Member of Parliament Maisara Dandamun-Latiph distributed 300 study tables to the Madrasah learners of Culiat Elementary School in Quezon City.
This is part of MP Maisara’s programs for the Bangsamoro Communities Outside Bangsamoro Region in Muslim Mindanao (BCOBARMM) dubbed as “Siyap ko Kapaganad Project”.
This serves as an educational assistance initiative for the Bangsamoro learners residing outside the Bangsamoro Region in coping up with the new learning type amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Ever since the pandemic began, Muslim learners in Salam Compound are learning through modules. They are studying at home, and most of them are using boxes, basins, house floors, and other objects which brings inconvenience for their learning.
Study tables may seem a bit insignificant to others, but the impact of the distribution of the study tables to 300 Muslim learners of Culiat Elementary School was great and could be seen as a spark.
This will be an inspiration and motivation not only for the learners but also for the parents, and the community as a whole.
Programs and projects for the Bangsamoro Children like this can bring hope and inspiration to the Bangsamoro people. Knowing the culture of the Bangsamoro, they are very appreciative even with the smallest things given to them.
