The office of MP Maisara C. Dandamun-Latiph together with the National Power Corporation, Watershed Management Department, MSU-College of Forestry and Environmental Studies, LGU-Marawi City, and BARMM-Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Energy conducted a Patrolling/Assessment at Sacred Mountain National Park (Mount Mupo) and Tree Planting Activity last August 10, 2021 at Brgy. Papandayan/Guimba, Marawi City.

The 94-hectare (230-acre) national park and a protected area were established on August 5, 1965, by Republic Act no. 4190. The park is dominated by Mount Mupo, a 900-foot (270 m) tall, lofty cone-shaped extinct volcano.
