The Committee on Finance, Budget, and Management deliberated upon the pending bills and resolutions which referered to it during the previous sessions. Among the bills included in the agenda were BTA BILL Nos. 64, 48, 49, 23, 25, 74, 79, 84, 87, 89, and 90. However, MP Zia and MP Mangudadatu separately moved to amend the agenda by including the bills they have authored: BTA Bill No. 95 and BTA Bill No. 92, respectively.
BTA Bill No. 95 which seeks to appropriate 50M Pesos for the purchase of oxygen tanks that will be distributed to different hospitals was deliberated and debated upon.
MP Maisara Dandamun-Latiph manifested that in order to fast track the passage of the bill, the bill can be substituted or amended at the committee level. The idea has been carried on which led to the approval of the 50M that will be implemented by the Ministry of Health. However, CFBM will await the comments from MOH before the final approval of the bill.
