MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)–Some 50 women who were living in the landfill area in Brgy. Papandayan Caniogan here expressed their utmost joy as they all received toolkits like ovens and sewing machines from the Office of Member Parliament (MP) Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph.
These recipients have undergone training in dressmaking and bread and pastry making while a start-up capital worth P15,000 each was also given through the partnership with the Bangsamoro Transition Authority-Gender and Development (BTA-GAD), Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education-Technical Education Skills and Development (MBHTE-TESD), and Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD).
